Online sessions to help get more jobseekers into construction jobs & training

WEST LONDON’S frontline job coaches, job brokerage staff, careers advisors and employability teams are invited to attend online sessions to improve their success rate in guiding jobseekers towards construction careers. The sessions will feature construction employers eager to answer questions about the opportunities in their sector and to help improve your advisory skills.

The sessions will be run by the West London Green Skills Hub in partnership with West London Alliance, Ingeus and DWP.

Our goals are to help frontline staff:
• be more clued-up and knowledgeable about construction
• be better able to answer questions posed by jobseekers on whether construction is the right career for them
• know where to find the best sources of jobs, training, advice & information; and importantly
• be more successful at getting people into construction jobs or training

Three online sessions are planned in September to ensure everyone who would like to attend is able to do so.
