Skills for Londoners Bootcamp funding opens soon

THE GLA’s open competition to select new Skills Bootcamps providers is expected to launch shortly. Skills Bootcamps aim to help Londoners aged 19+ to enter employment, upskill or change career. Bids will be accepted across 12 priority sectors including: green technical; green construction; other green jobs and skills and construction. 

Bootcamp training courses provide access to in-demand sector specific skills training and provide a guaranteed job interview on completion. In addition to technical training, learners will also receive guidance on entering professional working environments to fully prepare them for new roles.

The Mayor has secured £27.028 million grant funding from the Department for Education (DfE) to deliver the Skills Bootcamps in London in 2025-2026.
