West London Green Skills Hub

West London College

At West London College, we are fully committed to support the UK’s journey to Net Zero. We believe green skills training needs to be at the forefront of our educational offer, so we monitor changes to jobs and industries, continually evolving to ensure our provision is relevant to the communities we serve.

The UK’s plans to reduce carbon to become Net Zero by 2050 will bring significant changes to the way we live, how we work and the economic opportunities available. Our role as your education partner is to anticipate skills needs and develop accessible and relevant training for the wider community, so we can all benefit from the financial rewards the transition to low carbon will bring to the UK economy, engaging in the global objective of making the planet a safer, more sustainable place. At West London College, we commit to innovating and creating education and training opportunities for both school leavers and adults that enrich them with in-depth, transferable skills that enable them to grow within the wide-ranging green careers sector.

We believe the Green Skills initiative is not transitory or niche, it’s for everyone and every occupation. Our wider educational aim is to integrate ‘green’ into our entire provision, so all students will study Climate Change and become more carbon literate while studying with us. We have a newly refurbished construction and green skills centre with specialist equipment and teaching facilities. We have a fully equipped Virtual Reality Suite with high-spec computing and AI headsets for immersive learning.
