Retrofit careers house now open for viewings

A 3D interactive Retrofit Careers House, launched by the South London Partnership, is now live and open to explore. This easy-to-use resource illustrates the range of skills and trade roles involved in domestic retrofit – a fast-growing career sector focused on improving the energy efficiency of homes to make them warmer, reduce energy bills and cut carbon emissions.

The retrofit sector is experiencing a surge in job vacancies, driven by the nation’s commitment to achieving net zero emissions by 2050. The challenge of retrofitting the nation’s housing stock – over 27 million homes is to say the least, monumental.
