Social Care and Further Education Pathways Programme

There is new free service to support young people and adults with SEND or Social Care Needs, to improve their well-being and move into employment; introducing the Social Care and Further Education Pathways Programme. 

The programme is designed to support people find a job they want or to move them closer to the labour market.

Participants must be:

  • Over 18 years old with SEND or a social care need or be known to Adult Social Care with a disability
  • Be economically inactive – i.e. not signing on at JCP with a requirement to look for work.
  • Be resident in one of the West London boroughs (Barnet, Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow)
  • They do not need to have an EHCP
  • They do not have to be looking for full-time work

NOTE – the service is also available to support the parent/carers of participants look for work.
